Thinking about the futureI've wrestled with decision on what gear to keep, and what to sell. Enthusiasm comes and goes at times, but it seems I am on a path to more and more casual photography. Less heavy duty involved stuff. Maybe it's a natural gravitation away from big cameras, and big lenses, to lighter, easier to carry, less "hey I'm a photographer" type image. Leica seems to suite that bill very well, except for lens prices and availability. I enjoy the freedom it seems to give me, and the creativity it seems to foster. It's fun shooting the M9. I have some gear I am just less interested in keeping, if anyone is interested in these pieces, please contact me. Nikon D3X, Nikon 200-400VR, Nikon 16-35VR 4.0, Zeiss 21mm 2.8 (amazing lens). This is for starters. I did already sell quite a bit of extraneous gear though, so not as much to clear out now. Generally, for me, less is more, and having to much gear just complicates my photography. I have other cameras, long lenses, so it's not like I am giving up my tools. I just have to much duplication. Thanks for reading.
